A search of the Murray River has now concluded after the body of a missing fisherman was located today.
About 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 February 2020), police have been told a man was fishing with friends when he slipped and fell into the Murray River, near Euston.
Officers from Barrier Police District, along with other emergency services agencies, commenced a search of the waterway.
Police divers located the body of a man about 12.50pm today (Thursday 13 February 2020).
He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a 31-year-old man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
