Break and enter in Wavell Heights, QLD

Detectives are appealing for information after a house was broken into in Wavell Heights on Friday night.

Shortly before 6.30pm on March 8, three men arrived on Warril Street in a black sedan and got out of the car and approached a house.

The three men then smashed the front door and confronted the two occupants, a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s, before they smashed property and fled the area in the car.

Investigations have revealed that the three men mistakenly entered the house and are seeking assistance for the public to identify them and the vehicle.

The couple in the house were not injured as a result of the incident.

Anyone with any information should contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
