BRISBANE BOAT SHOW RETURNS TO THE BCEC 23 – 25 AUGUST 2019
The Brisbane Boat Show returns to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 23rd until the 25th of August 2019. The show, being one of the largest recreational boat shows in Queensland, fills more than 20,000 square metres of floor space across 4 halls at the South Bank venue.
Andrew Fielding, Chairman with the Queensland Council of the Boating Industry Association Ltd who organise the event, said given Australia’s recreational boating manufacturing powerhouse lies at Brisbane’s doorstep, visitors can be assured of seeing the best and latest designs at this show. “Boat manufacturing plays a big part of the Queensland economy and this event showcases the quality and innovation that Australia has to offer,” he said.
Over 65 organisations have booked exhibition space, and they will bring with them more than 500 vessels which will present an excellent array of boats catering to various interests. They include fishing, water skiing, wake boarding, personal watercraft, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boards as well as others. Once again, family cruisers are proving as popular as ever at the show.
While the show is the best place to see boats and the best place to buy boats, the BIA also aims to entertain and educate at the show. With a commitment to safe boating, show organisers have pulled together an excellent line up of government agencies to ensure visitors have the opportunity to better understand how to stay safe and maximise their time on the water. On stage will be a mix of educators and entertainers, where the fishing masterclasses make a welcome return.
