Burglary Appeal in Morningside, QLD

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following a burglary in Morningside on Wednesday, March 20.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 12.10pm, a man broke into a Wynnum Road property and stole a quantity of jewellery and antique items.

He then left the scene on foot towards Moore Street and Redfern Street.

No one was physically injured.

Detectives from Dutton Park’s Criminal Investigation Unit have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.

It is believed the incident could be related to a similar burglary that occurred nearby at Seven Hills in July 2023: https://mypolice.qld.gov.au/news/2023/08/24/robbery-appeal-seven-hills/

Police are appealing to the man, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
