Burnie Police are investigating damage to windows on businesses and Burnie City Council assets on Wilmot Street overnight (9-10 August).
Damage costs are expected to be significant.
A Burnie youth has been identified as the person responsible and Burnie Police are continuing their investigations in relation to the matter.
Any business owner in the area who discover damage to their premises today are encouraged to contact Burnie Police on 131 444.
