The previous bushfire warning has changed.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning in the Barakula State Forest. This fire is burning in containment lines and is posing no threat to property at this time. QFES, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) crews, waterbombing aircraft and local landholders will continue working throughout the day. Smoke may affect nearby areas. Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
