RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility , Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside .
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Custom Bushfires NT will be conducting a planned burn within the Darwin River Dam Catchment area. The operation will commence after 15:00 and be complete by 20:00 hours. It is expected that the fire will smoulder overnight.
IT IS EXPECTED THIS SITUATION MAY CONTINUE UNTIL: 12/07/2026
