Call for information – Aggravated burglary – Coconut Grove

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after multiple aggravated burglaries at a residence in Coconut Grove over the weekend.

Around 10:20pm on Friday, police received reports that a group of offenders had unlawfully entered a residence on Hart Court, Coconut Grove. Once inside the group have allegedly thrown items at the sole occupant, a 65-year-old man, before stealing a number of small items and fleeing the scene in the vehicle.

Police attended the scene and began investigations to locate the offenders and the stolen grey Mazda 3.

At 12pm the next day, police received a report that the same offenders had returned to the residence and again assaulted the occupant before stealing small items and fleeing the scene.

The stolen Mazda 3 has since been recovered abandoned.
