Calling all Coast creatives – The Refinery to launch over Juice and Jam

Come along to the Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance Juice and Jam Breakfast, From Creative Practice to Creative Enterprise, on Wednesday, February 20 and learn how you could turn your creative idea into a successful and sustainable business with The Refinery.

Join us for the launch of this exciting new program and learn from inspiring creative industry leaders as they reveal their own paths to success.

Hear successful approaches for turning arts practice into business success from special guest speakers Nicole Jordan from Creative Enterprise Australia, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins from Made on Minjerribah and Samantha Jockell from Biddy Bags, Aldi Mum and Parent TV.

Then, find out how you can do it yourself with The Refinery, the region’s first creative incubator.

The Refinery is a joint initiative by Sunshine Coast Council, SunCentral Maroochydore and Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance.

The 10-week incubator program takes a fresh approach to creative business development and has been designed especially for independent artists, early-stage entrepreneurs and creative industries practitioners.

The program will assemble leading mentors and experts from around Australia to help selected participants refine, test and launch their idea into businesses. The Refinery will culminate in a public showcase opportunity, followed by three months of ongoing mentoring and a chance to receive a $10,000 investment into your business journey.
