Campbelltown Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

Department of Health

The Australian Government is delivering on commitments to the people of New South Wales with a provider for the Campbelltown Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (Medicare UCC) finalised, following an Expression of Interest process.

Campbelltown Medical and Dental Centre will be established as the Campbelltown Medicare UCC and will start seeing patients from today, 12 December 2023.

The Campbelltown Medicare UCC delivers on the government’s commitment to make it easier for the people of New South Wales to get the urgent treatment they need – from highly qualified doctors and nurses – while taking pressure off the Campbelltown Hospital.

The Medicare UCC will be open for extended hours, 7 days a week, and offer walk-in care that is fully bulk billed.

Almost 40 per cent of presentations to the Campbelltown Hospital are for non-urgent or semi-urgent care.

The Medicare UCC in Campbelltown is an additional clinic established as a result of the strong collaboration between the Commonwealth and NSW Government.

The Campbelltown clinic is one of the 14 Medicare UCCs across NSW – located in Albury, Batemans Bay, Cessnock, Coffs Harbour, Peninsula, Lake Haven, Lismore, Maroubra, Penrith, Rooty Hill, Tamworth, Westmead and Wollongong.
