Can Australia Retain Constellation Cup again?

Trans-Tasman netball rivalry has never been so fierce – the Australian Diamonds face the New Zealand Silver Ferns in the 2019 Constellation Cup series starting this Sunday, October 13, at 2.00pm on Nine and 9Now, with one game on 9Gem.

After a narrow loss to the Silver Ferns at the 2019 World Cup, the Diamonds will be out to get revenge and keep the Constellation Cup in Australia for the seventh year in a row.

Australian coach Lisa Alexander will coach her 100th Diamonds game during this series, with a squad that has four new inclusions: Ash Brazill, Tegan Philip, Laura Scherian and Maddy Turner.

The teams enter the competition as number one (Australia) and two (New Zealand) in the world, rankings that promise to make every match in the four-game series ultra-tight.

Australian netball legend Liz Ellis will host each match, with Sue Gaudion calling and expert commentary provided by Sydney Swifts coach Briony Akle and former netball stars Cath Cox, Sharni Layton and Nat Medhurst.

Catch all the action in the 2019 Constellation Cup from Sunday, October 13, at 2.00pm on Nine and 9Now.
