Can you find Elf in Shelf?

Spot the Elf in the Shelf while doing your shopping this Christmas for your chance to win one of 10 $50 Think Orange gift cards.

Elf in the Shelf is being held by the Youth Action Council, part of Orange City Council’s Youth Services, in conjunction with the Orange Business Chamber.

Orange Mayor Reg Kidd said this is the second year of the promotion, with the Youth Action Council launching the promotion last year to give shoppers, especially young people aged 12 to 24, a chance to participate in finding an elf in store and the chance to win one of 10 $50 shop Orange Region gift cards to spend.

“It was such a success and received thousands of entries, so I’m pleased they are holding it again this year,” Cr Kidd said.

“It also offers people the chance to have a bit of fun when they do their shopping and get into the Christmas spirit.”

All shoppers have to do to enter is spot the Elf in a participating Think Orange Region store listed on Council’s website, scan the QR code to email us the details or fill in the form to go in the draw.

Participating stores will have an Elf in the Shelf poster in their window and entry forms will be available in-store.

Completed entry forms can be submitted in the store, or they can be dropped off at Orange City Council, 135 Byng Street. Shoppers can enter as many times as they like.

Orange Business Chamber president Jack Evans said it had been a tough year for many businesses and encouraged people to shop locally this Christmas.

“This is something the whole family can enjoy as they do their Christmas shopping,” Mr Evans said.

“By spending your money in Orange, you’re supporting local people and you have the chance to win a prize as well.”

Entries close at 4.45pm on Thursday 23 December, 2021 and the competition will be drawn on December 24.

Terms and Conditions are available on the Orange City Council website.
