A man has died after his car crashed into a tree in Connewirricoo last night.
Police have been told a resident of Kadnook-Connewirricoo Road heard a noise before finding the crashed car about 11pm.
Sadly the male driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined but it is believed the driver lost control.
Officers are also investigating whether or not the man was wearing a seatbelt.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
