Carin Götblad new member of board of Karolinska Institutet

On August 22, the Government appointed Carin Götblad as a new member of the Board of Karolinska Institutet. Carin Götblad replaces Liselotte Højgaard who has asked to be dismissed.

Götblad currently works as regional police chief for the police region “Mitt”. She has previously worked as county police chief for the Stockholm Police Authority and for the Gotland Police Authority. She has previously chaired the Board of the University of Gotland as well as being a member of KTH and Gothenburg University Board. Carin Götblad is appointed for the assignment as a member of the Board from August 22, 2019 until April 30, 2020.

“I look forward to take part in the board of KI. This is an important trust assignment in a very important community institution”, says Carin Götblad.
