Cash stolen from three fast-food outlets, Meadowbrook and Browns Plains

Logan detectives are investigating after three fast food outlets were robbed of cash last night (Wednesday, May 25).

Two males on a motorbike entered the drive-thru of the businesses, with the pillion passenger stealing cash from the service window area, before the pair sped off (see image).

No one was physically injured however on one occasion staff were threatened with a metal bar and a female teenage employee pushed out of the way, and in another the service window was smashed.

The incidents occurred over a three hour period, with the first incident occurring at a University Drive, Meadowbrook business at 6.40pm, the second at an Edenlea Drive, Meadowbrook outlet at 8.30pm and the third at around 9.30pm at a Browns Plains Road, Browns Plains business.

The rider of the motorbike was wearing dark clothing and the pillion passenger a white top. Both had dark coloured helmets.

Police are appealing for anyone with information which can assist with this investigation to contact them.
