CCTV released after burglary and theft in Southbank

Southbank police are investigating a burglary and theft in Southbank in February.

Investigators have been told two men in a white Range Rover Discovery four-wheel drive, waited in the street, until a car left a private residential carpark on Wells Street on 16 February about 3.30am.

The offenders then entered the carpark on foot whilst the roller door was open.

The two men remained in the carpark for approximately 30 minutes, where they stole multiple personal items from the rear of residents’ cars, including a bike rack.

The first man is described as having an athletic build, dark brown hair, and is approximately 28-35 years of age.

He was wearing a navy-blue Chicago Bulls jumper, dark-coloured shorts and beige sneakers.

The second man is described as having a large to medium build and is approximately 28-35 years of age.

He was wearing a blue, red and grey hoodie, grey tracksuit pants, green gloves and black sneakers.

Officers have released CCTV footage and images of a vehicle and two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
