Chemist break and enters Logan and Gold Coast

Police are investigating the possible links between three break and enters at chemists in Logan and the Gold Coast during the early hours of this morning.

Around 2.40am a large rock or piece of concrete was thrown through the front glass window of a pharmacy at Waldron Street in Yarrabilba to gain entry. Two males have entered the business and placed a number of items in a bag they were carrying before exiting through the damaged window smashed glass window.

Then at 3.50am a chemist on Maudsland Road at Oxenford and one on Egeersdorf Road at Ormeau half an hour later both had a similar object thrown through a window in an attempt to try and gain entry. In both incidents the windows were smashed and items were stolen which included medication and prescription drugs.

Investigations are ongoing.
