Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the caregivers of a boy who was found unaccompanied in Thornlands this afternoon.
Just before 5pm a member of the public raised the alarm after finding the boy alone along George Thorn Drive.
He was taken to the safety of a local police station, is uninjured and in good spirits, however has communication difficulties.
He is Caucasian, approximately ten years old, 130cm tall with a proportionate build and ginger hair. He is wearing a lime green t-shirt with ‘darth vader’ motif and light blue shorts without shoes.
Police appeal to the caregivers of the boy, or anyone who may know their identity to come forward.
