A child reported missing in the state’s Riverina region has now been located safe and well.
The 8-year-old boy was reportedly last seen at Moulamein Lake, about 100km north-west of Deniliquin, prior to 7pm last night (Saturday 11 November 2023).
When he was unable to be located, officers from Murray Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
As part of inquiries, the child was located safe and well at Swan Hill, Victoria, just before 9am today (Sunday 12 November 2023).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
