“Earlier this year we announced seven three-bedroom, two-bathroom properties had been completed for families on the public housing waiting list.

“Our Government continues to do everything we can to boost housing supply throughout the State and to ensure the OneOneFive Hamilton Hill community has the amenities for local families we’re releasing land for the development of a new childcare Centre.

“The new childcare centre will meet the needs of the growing local community by providing childcare services in a well-located suburb, close to local shops, transport links, and recreational facilities and amenities.

“The total OneOneFive development will provide over 230 residential lots, seven public open space areas, and two small mixed-use opportunities, with development located near key infrastructure, transport nodes and schools.”

As stated by Early Childhood Education Minister Sabine Winton:

“The Cook Government is committed to supporting Western Australian families to access quality early learning and ensuring children get the best possible start to life.

“As our State’s population continues to grow, it’s important that we support and provide opportunities for development of key community infrastructure including new early learning centres.

“This development in Hamilton Hill will play a vital role in enabling parents to return to work, while supporting the social and emotional growth of children.”

As stated by Fremantle MLA Simone McGurk:

“OneOneFiveHamilton Hillpays homage tothe site’s history as a school and its Indigenous heritage through its street names, public art, and architectural design.
