Christmas miracle: Nativity returns to City of Perth

The City of Perth has delivered a Christmas miracle, with a Christmas Nativity event set to occur on Sunday 13 December in Forrest Place.

From 7.30pm, the Western Australian community will be invited to share in the story of Christmas, brought to life on stage by festive performers and much-loved Christmas carols.

“I am very pleased to say we’ve listened to the community and we’re bringing this traditional event back in less than two weeks’ time,” City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said.

“At a time when we need it most, the City of Perth Christmas Nativity will give anyone and everyone a chance to experience the joy that Christmas brings.

“I’d like to thank those involved in putting on this exciting show in such a short amount of time.

“We can’t wait to see the community out and about in the lead up to Christmas.”

The City of Perth will release approximately 500 free tickets to this smaller-scale Christmas Nativity event.

Tickets will be released on Friday 4 December at 10am via visitperth.com.

People with tickets for the Christmas Concert on 13 December from 4pm to 6pm must book a new ticket if they wish to attend the 7.30pm Christmas Nativity show.
