The City of Burnside’s photography competition is back for 2021, but with a twist!
To celebrate the launch of our Instagram page in 2021, this year’s competition will be Instagram exclusive. This means all submissions must be posted on Instagram, tagging our account @cityofburnside and using the hashtag #burnsidephotocomp.
There are no categories for this year’s City of Burnside Instagram Photography Competition, instead we want you to decide ‘What does Burnside mean to you?’. This could include photos of nature and wildlife (such as your favourite walking spot), local flora and landscape (perhaps a favourite flower on your street), a place where you have a special connection to the land, a nearby heritage area or even your favourite local cafe for a coffee with friends! It is entirely up to you.
Applications open Saturday 13 November 2021 and close Friday 10 December 2021.
After the competition ends, our selection panel will meet to nominate the top three photographs as winners. Each winner will receive a double pass to either The Regal Theatre or the George Bolton Swimming Centre, depending on their preference.
By entering the City of Burnside’s Instagram Photography Competition, you have agreed to the competition’s Terms and Conditions. Please note that anyone within SA can enter the competition, however the photo must have been taken within the City of Burnside.
