Pack a picnic and join us for a family friendly event including: food trucks, a smoking ceremony at dusk and a Welcome to Country from Bunurong Land Council, and storytelling with Boonwurrung Elder, N’arweet Carolyn Briggs.

Where: Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve (formerly Elsternwick Park Nature Reserve). Please enter from St Kilda Street opposite Spray Street for easiest access to the event.

As you walk through the Chain of Ponds, look for wildlife, listen out for frogs and birds, and enjoy the rare beauty of the indigenous flora.
Please be respectful by sticking to the paths and stepping stones and keeping dogs on a leash. Suitable footwear is advised. Bring a chair or rug to picnic in the park.
