Community feedback sought on planned road upgrades for Beenleigh and Stapylton

  • The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has commenced planning on the upgrade of Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road and Stapylton-Jacobs Well Road.
  • As part of the planning, options are being investigated for additional lanes, intersection upgrade and active transport improvements.
  • Consultation is now underway and will run until 30 September 2024 with the community encouraged to have their say on the proposed upgrade.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has commenced planning on the upgrade of Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road and Stapylton-Jacobs Well Road to help cater for future growth in the area.

The community, including residents and local business in the Beenleigh and Stapylton area, have been invited to have their say on the upgrade planning, with feedback to be used to inform future designs.

As part of initial planning and investigations, options are being explored for additional lanes, intersection upgrades and active transport improvements to support future connectivity and the growing needs of local communities.
