Bayside Council’s 2026 Community Grants Program offering support for not-for-profit organisations, community groups, and individuals opens on Monday 29 June.
Council’s Community Grants program supports community initiatives that align with Council’s Community Strategic Plan 2035.
The program includes small grants for equipment, activities, or resources, and seeding grants up to $5,000 to launch innovative programs that address social, cultural, artistic, or leisure needs.
Eligibility is generally limited to local organisations or individuals who contribute to community wellbeing, with specific categories such as Youth Representation and Seniors Groups requiring additional criteria.
Council is hosting free information sessions on the application process, eligibility criteria, and how to strengthen a proposal. These sessions include one-on-one advice and Q&A opportunities.
