Attention all rugby league fans. Melbourne Storm will be celebrating Community Round during Round 11 of the NRL season when they face the Cronulla Sharks at 4.05 pm on Sunday 11 June at AAMI Park.
The City of Casey and Melbourne Storm announced a new five-year partnership earlier this year that has a strong focus on community development, encouraging physical activity and removing barriers to participation.
As part of the partnership, local teams the Casey Warriors and the Doveton Steelers rugby league clubs will play a mini match at half time. Local indigenous dance group Bandok Tati, who was awarded the Lindsay King Art Award at the 2023 Casey Community Award earlier this year, will perform pre-game.
