Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Ernest.
The 88-year-old was last seen in George Street, Doncaster about 5.30pm today.
Police and family members are concerned for his welfare due to medical conditions including type 1 diabetes, poor eyesight and dementia.
Ernest is known to go for long walks during the day in the Doncaster and Manningham areas.
An image of Ernest has been released in the hope someone recognises him and provides information on his current whereabouts.
Ernest is of Mediterranean appearance, approximately 160cm tall, with a medium build and short, white/grey wavy hair.
He was last seen wearing a light pink polo shirt and blue jeans.
