In its second year, the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards aim to showcase the value of tourism to towns and communities across our state and celebrate outstanding regional destinations.

Hosted by the Victoria Tourism Industry Council, the accolade reflects the ongoing love affair Victorians have formed with the beautiful destinations in their own backyard.

Eighteen towns across the state are now vying for the titles.

Flinders and Fingal are two of the finalists in the Tiny Tourism Town category.

Sorrento is one of the finalists in the Small Tourism Town category.

These three much loved local towns may be small but they punch well above their weight when it comes to experiences, activities and accommodation. They are three of the reasons why the Mornington Peninsula is a great destination to visit year-round.

Support where you live, work and play and vote for our local finalists! By voting, you’ll go in the draw to win one perfect Melbourne weekend for two.

Voting is open until the 31 May. Go to: vtic.com.au/toptourismtown/

Winning towns will progress on to the nationals for a chance to be named Australia’s Top Tourism Town.
