Griffith City Council staff continue to monitor the European Carp in Lake Wyangan North that appeared to be showing signs of distress last Thursday, 22 June 2023.
There has been no significant fish mortality observed in the Lake for native fish as of Monday morning, 26 June 2023.
Council Staff have taken the opportunity to relocate the European Carp while they were schooling in the one spot.
The incident has been reported to the NSW Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Primary Industries (DPI).
