Customer Service – COVID-19 Operational Update

Hawkesbury City Council is pleased to announce that it will reopen for the community to access Customer Service at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor on Thursday, 4 June 2020. Some COVID-19 restrictions will be in place for the safety of community members and staff. Face to face Customer Service will now be available Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

Depending on demand, the number of people allowed entry at any one time may need to be limited in line with current COVID-19 restrictions. To stay COVID-safe and to protect the wellbeing of residents and Council staff, there will not be a duty officer available for planning advice. This is due to increased risk because of the complexity and time involved in providing such advice. You are still able to contact Council for planning advice via the Contact Us service www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/council/contact-us for assistance.

Putting everyone’s safety first, community members will be requested to continue to observe physical distancing for other members of the public and staff. To help with this, Council has placed stickers in relevant areas to mark out spaces. The Customer Service counter now has protective screens and hand sanitiser is available. Cashless transactions are preferred where possible. Members of the public who are not well should not attend.

Council encourages community members to also use its online services at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au and for any enquiries, including bushfire recovery enquiries, please call Council’s Customer Service on
