A cyclist had to be rescued from underneath a car at Ironbank this morning.
Emergency services were called to Ironbank Road, Ironbank just before 9am on Thursday 24 September by reports of a collision.
A cyclist had fallen from his bike onto the roadway on a bend before being struck by an approaching vehicle.
The bicycle became wedged under the rear tyre of the four-wheel drive, pinning the cyclist who was freed by emergency crews.
The 19-year-old Upper Sturt man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 4WD, a 56-year-old Joslin man, was not physically injured in the crash.
