Two men and a woman have been arrested after a stolen car was driven dangerously in Logan last night.
Shortly after 8pm, officers observed a Toyota Camry travelling at high speed through roadworks on Compton Road at Slacks Creek.
Polair monitored the vehicle as it continued northbound on Gowan Road at Calamvale where it is alleged to have been driving in a dangerous manner, including travelling on the wrong side of the road at high speeds and travelling through roadworks at high speed.
The vehicle was tracked through suburbs including South Brisbane where it was allegedly driving dangerously before travelling back to Logan.
Shortly before 9.30pm, a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed at Kingston Road in an attempt to stop the car.
The vehicle continued driving on the Logan Motorway before it came to a stop on Kingston Road at Waterford West.
Once stopped, the three occupants – a 27-year-old man, 20-year-old man and 23-year-old woman all fled the car and were later arrested with the assistance of the dog squad.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman, has been charged with nine offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and drug offences. She is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
The two passengers were charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and issued with Notices to Appear at a later date.
