Dangerous operation of a stolen vehicle in Annerley, QLD

Five teenagers have been arrested after an alleged stolen car crashed in Annerley this afternoon.

It will be alleged a BMW was stolen from an address in Boyne Close in Holmview at 5.20am this morning.

Around 2pm, the stolen vehicle was sighted by police at Slacks Creek and monitored.

Police successfully activated tyre deflation devices twice and the vehicle continued driving then crashed into a medium strip on Ekibin Road in Annerley.

The occupants fled and were located a short time later.

Three teenage boys and two teenage girls were taken into custody without incident and are assisting with enquires.
