Daniel Andrews’ hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to attacking the Liberals and Nationals’ plan to offer a 50-year lease of sewerage and water treatment plants.
He is the Prince of privatisations. He has privatised:
- The Port of Melbourne (50-year lease) $9.7 billion;
- The Land Titles Office (40-year lease) $2.9 billion; and,
- VicRoads (Modernisation program, 40-year partnership) $7.9 billion
He also sold Victoria’s share of Snowy Hydro (Federal buy back of 29 per cent equity share) for $2.1 billion
He has raised a staggering $22.6 billion through his sales.
It should never be forgotten that the process of privatisation of electricity assets began under Joan Kirner’s Labor Government when she sold 51 per cent of Loy Yang B in 1992.
Daniel Andrews is a hypocrite and more he is lying when he claims gas can only be extracted by fracking.
His own media release proves his lie.
Only a Liberals and Nationals Government will bring integrity and good governance back to Victoria.
