Darwin Festival kicks off tomorrow!

One of the Top End’s favourite events begins tomorrow, with Darwin Festival promising 11 days and nights of incredible entertainment.

Featuring a smorgasbord of live and virtual events spanning theatre, music, comedy, cabaret, visual arts and more, Darwin Festival is set to make August 2020 a month to remember.

Shining a spotlight on Territory talent this year, the theme is DF20 Homegrown. Tickets are selling fast, with Territorians showing their support for this signature Top End festival, so secure your spot now!

Highlights include the free Housewarming opening concert at Festival Park, performances by the incredible Darwin Symphony Orchestra, and the finale, Streets of Darwin.

An ode to Darwin’s neighbourhoods, Street of Darwin features new songs from talented Territory musicians Caiti Baker, Arran Barker, Broadwing, Tracey Bunn, Ben Evolent, Mandy Garling, David Garnham and Stevie Jean. From the rural area to the CBD, from share houses to family homes, this celebratory closing event echoes the experiences of living in Darwin’s diverse neighbourhoods.
