The University has to switch to digital teaching as of December 1, 2020, with the exception of only laboratory activities, internships, practical and artistic training sections and examinations.
Despite the partial lockdown in Germany since the beginning of November, the pandemic has not calmed down in the last days and weeks to the extent hoped for. The infection level is still far too high and the situation is very serious. Zhe University of Würzburg is therefore forced to further reduce the number of contacts in the field of teaching.
Please note that according to the Cabinet decision of the State Government of November 26, 2020 – and following the agreement between Bavarian University Conference – the University has to switch to digital teaching as of December 1, 2020, with the exception of laboratory activities, internships, practical and artistic training sections and examinations.
This decision of the state government is valid until 20 December 2020, and the University of Würzburg extends the period for this restriction up to and including 23 December 2020.
