Police from Latrobe Highway Patrol intercepted an alleged drink driver after he crashed into a road side barrier on 9 February.
Officers were called to reports of a damaged vehicle parked near Traralgon-Maffra Road.
Investigators believe the driver, a 26-year-old Traralgon man, lost control of his vehicle about 3.15pm and crashed into the road side barrier.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man returned an alleged preliminary breath test reading of 0.128.
The Traralgon man will be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic offences to appear in Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
