A driver has been reported after refusing to undergo a breath analysis at Basket Range overnight.
Just after midnight on Sunday 27 September, Mount Barker police were conducting patrols on Lobethal Road at Basket Range when they saw a Volkswagen hatchback travelling at a slow speed.
The vehicle subsequently stopped in the driveway of a Lobethal Road property on a sharp bend and appeared to be conducting a U-turn.
Police spoke with the driver and conducted a roadside alcohol test, which allegedly returned a positive result.
The driver was directed to submit to a breath analysis but allegedly refused.
The 30-year-old Rostrevor woman was reported for refusing a breath analysis, issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and her vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
She will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
