Today, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia reminded the community pharmacy industry that early bird registration for Pharmacy Connect 2022 ends in two weeks on Thursday 28 July.
Kos Sclavos AM, Pharmacy Connect Convenor and former Guild National President, said that pharmacists should book their registration now to secure a saving.
“The countdown is on for early bird registration”, Mr Sclavos said, “we have a jam-packed educational and social program for Pharmacy Connect which you won’t want to miss.”
With a theme of ‘building better connections with patients’, this year’s program will bring together leadership, business and clinical content to support attendees in building better patient relationships.
In addition to educational content, Pharmacy Connect delegates will have access to valuable networking opportunities with peers, industry leaders and suppliers in the 50-plus stand trade exhibition.
Attendees can also attend the pre-conference workshops on Thursday 1 September, which includes the topics of ‘Harm Minimisation – getting community pharmacy involved’; How to protect you most valuable business asset – your registration’; and ‘Full scope of practice’.
Alongside the educational content, is the sought-after social program including the Welcome Reception at Hilton Sydney’s internationally acclaimed Zeta Bar and the Cocktail Party boasting a buffet dinner, drinks and dancing.
Mr Sclavos reminded attendees of the COVID-19 Refund Guarantee available for Pharmacy Connect. Should you not be able to attend Pharmacy Connect 2022 due to COVID-19 restriction requirements, you can access online session recordings for 50% of the registration fee, transfer your registration to another delegate or receive a full refund.
