Early Years Conference

Wyndham City’s Early Education and Care Service is delighted to be delivering the online Early Years Matters Conference 2022.

The conference theme is Transformational Practice – Growing in Partnership with the Community and will be held on Friday, 24 June from 9am to 4.30pm.

This year is the 17th annual Early Years Matters Conference and will host inspirational keynote speakers and nine interesting and in-depth workshops.

Workshop themes will include anti-bias curriculum, cross-cultural system and structure, barriers to re-learning resilience, as well as a range of other interesting and nuanced workshops, all focussed on transformational practice and working in partnership with the community.

Wyndham City Deputy Mayor and Learning City portfolio holder Cr Jasmine Hill said: “The conference is aimed at further developing and equipping early and middle years professionals with specific knowledge and skills and events tailored to professional growth.”

“With the focus on development, learnings and growth, this conference will deliver progressive ideas and concepts to equip early and middle years professional with up-to-date concepts, key learnings and knowledge to use in their daily settings.”

Key-note speaker, Dr Red Ruby Scarlett will engage the audience with opening our minds to change and Steve Sammartino will delight and fascinate with ideas and concepts of innovation, creativity and futurist ideas.
