Elderly man assaulted at Findon, South Australia

A man has been stabbed whilst on a morning walk at Findon this morning.

About 6.30am on Monday 25 May, a 79-year-old victim was walking on the eastern side of Findon Road, about 100m north of Grange Road, when he was struck on the back by an unknown person.

When the victim arrived at his home address he found that he had been stabbed with an unknown object. Police were called to the scene at about 8.15am and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as being a man, approximately 183cm tall and aged in his 20s. He was last seen running … He did not speak to the victim.
