An elderly man reported missing from Sydney’s southwest has been located safe and well.
The 88-year-old man was last seen late in the afternoon in the Merrylands area on Saturday 13 May 2023.
When he failed to return home or make contact with family members, he was reported missing to officers from Cumberland Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries and multiple appeals for assistance, the man was located in Parramatta.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital and is in a stable condition.
