A pedestrian has died after being hit by a utility in the Eastern Suburbs this morning.
Emergency services were called to Middle Street, near Kennedy Lane, Kingsford, and found a 90-year-old woman had been struck by a utility, about 6.45am (Wednesday 30 October 2019).
The Kingsford woman died at the scene.
The male driver was uninjured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
