Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a permitted hazard reduction burn being conducted on Pumicestone Road, between Clinker Road and the Bruce Highway at Elimbah, north of Caboolture. There is no threat to property, but smoke and flames may be visible in the immediate and surrounding areas. Residents should close windows and doors and keep medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition. Smoke can decrease visibility, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
