A woman has died in a house fire on Brisbane’s bayside this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Leon Street, Thorneside home around 3pm to find the house well alight.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services personnel located the woman, the sole occupant of the house, and believed to be the 90-year-old home owner, deceased inside the home.
Initial investigations indicate the blaze maybe non suspicious however investigations into the cause of the fire are on-going.
