SYDNEY, Australia, 29 July 2026: EZZ Life Science Holdings (ASX: EZZ), an Australian genomic life science company, has built its three-step hair growth range around eucalyptus stem cells, the active running through its shampoo, scalp scrub and hair growth spray. The range is sold at selected Chemist Warehouse and Priceline stores nationwide.

Hair thinning is far more common than most people assume. Male pattern hair loss is thought to affect 80 per cent of men by age 80, while female pattern hair loss rises from about 12 per cent of women in their twenties to 40 per cent by age 50 (Australian Prescriber). As more of those shoppers look for options that are not pharmaceutical, what is actually in a product has become a deciding factor, and few brands can point to a hair range built on a single native Australian botanical.

The hair growth spray, the range’s best-known product, combines eucalyptus stem cells with oligopeptides, caffeine and four amino acids in a formulation that is more than 99 per cent natural. Eucalyptus is valued in hair care for soothing and clarifying the scalp, easing flaking and irritation, and supporting circulation to the follicle, the conditions hair needs to grow. The spray is applied directly to the scalp once or twice a day and left in, and the same eucalyptus stem cell active carries through the scalp scrub, which clears build-up before washing, and the shampoo, which cleanses and supports the scalp, so all three steps work on the same principle.

The range is built around a measurable result. In a 2024 EZZ study, the hair growth spray was effective for 97 per cent of participants, and the spray has since sold more than 150,000 units over two years. EZZ Life Science Holdings is an ASX-listed genomic life science company that develops and distributes consumer health, hair and skincare products across Australia, New Zealand and China.

“People do not want a maybe, they want to know it will work,” said Fernando Rodriguez, spokesperson for EZZ. “In our 2024 study, 97 per cent of people saw a result, and that is the number customers repeat back to us. Eucalyptus is doing the work behind it: it calms and clears the scalp and supports blood flow to the follicle, which is the environment hair actually needs to grow.”

Rodriguez said the result is what drives both repeat purchase and export demand. “A 97 per cent result is why people rebuy, and why the range travels. It sells in China because it is built on eucalyptus, a plant the world associates with Australia, and because it does what we say it does. Provenance opens the door, but the outcome is what keeps it open.”
