Europa Metals Contracts Xcalibur For Austrian Airborne Survey

Jane Morgan Management

Key Facts:

  • Europa Metals has contracted Xcalibur for airborne electromagnetic and magnetic surveying across its Austrian antimony and gold projects.

  • Mobilisation is scheduled for November, starting at Kreuzeck West and then working east along strike to cover all three antimony/gold prospects.

  • Graphite-bearing host rocks and fault zones around Kreuzeck’s historic antimony workings give the Company a geological reason to use electromagnetic surveying.

  • The Company has identified multiple proposed drill hole locations at Kreuzeck West, including the newly named Catacombs prospect.

  • Dr Thomas Unterweissacher has been appointed In-Country Manager, and CEO Torey Marshall has been on the ground in Austria since 22 October.

Perth/Austria 5th November 2026 | Europa Metals has entered into an agreement with Xcalibur to fly its HeliTEM® helicopter-borne electromagnetic system, alongside high resolution magnetics, over the Company’s Austrian exploration belt.

Historical mining in the area records significant graphite-bearing host rocks and fault zones. These conductive graphitic shear zones give the electromagnetic survey something to map, and the magnetics will help trace geological structures.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Torey Marshal says, “eophysics is a force multiplier for our program. We have historic antimony workings associated with graphite-bearing rocks and fault zones, giving us a geological reason to look for conductive corridors. Adding the magnetic picture could help us follow the structures, connect the evidence and decide where to focus our next work.

Being on the ground with our Austrian team has let us move from desktop review to field planning. Dr Unterweissacher brings local knowledge that will be important as we work with landholders and authorities ahead of drilling. Kreuzeck West is our primary focus, and we look forward to providing more detail on the drill targets, including Catacombs as that work progresses.”

Europa will combine the new data with historical records and field checks to sharpen drill-target selection along more than 40km of strike. Its review of historic data has produced proposed drill hole locations at Kreuzeck West. These include Catacombs, which brings together the historically mineralised Rabant, Edengang and Gurskerkammer areas. The locations are still at the planning stage and may change.

Dr Unterweissacher will be responsible for permitting and management in Austria.

Survey acquisition at Kreuzeck West is planned for November to December 2026, subject to contractor mobilisation and weather. Landholder engagement and permit applications are ongoing.
