Camden Civic Centre and its surrounding area will come alive in a new monthly night-time event – Cultural Fusion.
Held from 5pm until 8pm one evening a month from September 2023 to February 2024, Cultural Fusion will be a multi-faceted cultural extravaganza that combines live performance, inspiring art, bustling markets and soul-stirring music.
The program has been made possible thanks to the NSW Government’s Culture Up Late (Western Sydney) grants program.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said the monthly event was sure to delight attendees.
“We’re always looking at ways to enhance local night-time festivities and Cultural Fusion is going to be a welcome addition to Camden Council’s events program,” she said.
“There’s no need to travel far when we have your night planned out for you every month through to February.”
Cultural Fusion will take place on:
- Thursday 28 September;
- Thursday 26 October;
- Thursday 23 November;
- Thursday 21 December;
- Saturday 20 January; and
- Saturday 24 February.

As part of the program, the Cultural Fusion Art Sale will allow emerging and established artists to exhibit and sell their works with no entry fee or commission. Submissions close on 18 September.
