A 32-year-old Mornington woman had her car impounded after she was allegedly detected drink driving in Mount Eliza last night.
It is believed the woman was changing the tyre of her car on Tower Road about 11.55pm after driving from a licenced venue in Mornington.
The engine of the car was running and the woman’s passenger was asleep in the car.
The woman underwent a preliminary breath test and returned an evidentiary breath test of .191.
The car was impounded at a cost of $1075 and the woman’s licence was immediately suspended for 12 months.
