Express Lanes Community Grant gives back in Virginia

One of the most impactful ways we give back to the communities we serve in North America is through our Express Lanes Community Grant program, which has contributed more than $1.2 million to non-profit organizations in Northern Virginia since 2012.

Recently, we announced $31,000 in new contributions to 16 non-profits in the 495, 95 and 395 Express Lanes corridors. These organizations are doing important work and serving a variety of community needs – from healthcare to housing to education to food security – especially important now as we recover from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’re also getting ready to launch a new community grant program to support communities along the corridor of the 495 North Extension project (Project NEXT) as we get construction works underway.
